OVERHAULING & TESTING FUEL PUMPS & INJECTORS

Our process

Overhauling fuel pumps and injectors involves three steps.
  • Step 1 - We disassemble the fuel pump or injector and assess which parts need to be replaced and which can be reused.
  • Step 2 - We replace the parts that can no longer be used. We prefer to use original parts or follow the customer’s preferences.
  • Step 3 - We reassemble the component. All parts are tested and adjusted as necessary.
Every day, we repair and test
  • In-line fuel pumps from 1 to 12 cylinders
  • Rotary/distributor fuel pumps
  • Common rail fuel pumps
  • Common rail/piezo injectors
  • Pump injectors from Bosch and Delphi
  • Conventional injectors
Even older, rare components, such as Bosch in-line fuel pumps, can almost always be overhauled. Not an everyday task, but no problem for us!

Adjustment

If a replacement is needed, we prefer to use original parts. When adjusting a remanufactured component, we also follow the manufacturer’s specifications. Some customers have good reasons to deviate from these. We’re happy to accommodate that.

Testing

We have all the necessary test benches. This includes the ability to generate IMA codes or correction codes for common rail systems and pump injectors, when required. Our various test benches are from Bosch, Hartridge, and Carbon Zapp. They are calibrated and verified annually.

Fuel Pump Conversion

You can also come to us for converting a mechanically controlled fuel pump into an electronic one. For this, we use GAC controllers. Adapting fuel pumps for a different application is also part of our services. Think, for example, of converting a bow thruster application to propulsion.
